USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) announces the Pandemic Response and Safety Grant Program

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) has announced the Pandemic Response and Safety Grant Program (PRS). USDA’s Pandemic Response and Safety Grant Program provides approximately $650 million in funding to help eligible small producers and businesses recover costs incurred by responding to the pandemic, including for measures to protect workers from COVID-19. Applications open on September 23 and close on November 8 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. You can learn more about this program at https://usda-prs.grantsolutions.gov.

This funding opportunity is targeted to small specialty crop producers, food processors, manufacturers, distributors and farmers markets. If you are a small business or a nonprofit with 501(c)(3) IRS status, and you work in one of the sectors we just named, then you may be eligible to apply for funds.
