Organic Cost Share Update

ORGANIC CERTIFICATION COST SHARE

The Organic Certification Cost Share Program (OCCSP) had funding restored through 2031 by the federal Budget Reconciliation Bill that was signed into law in July. Historically the Program has provided a rebate on paid certification fees (up to $750.00 per organic certification scope). At writing, the Program is not yet open and USDA/FSA offices are not yet accepting applications. If you typically apply through your State Department of Agriculture, those programs are also not yet open. MOSA is continuing to watch for word fromUSDA/FSA when the Program will open. We'll share  any announcements and any updates with you. You may contact your County FSA office or check the USDA/ FSA Organic Certification Cost Share website.
