ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

Grass-Fed Certification - MOSA also offers Grass-Fed Livestock Production and Handling Certification for ruminant livestock producers and handlers. The Grass-Fed Livestock Production and Handling standards, which were created in a joint effort by the certification community and Organic Valley, and will be overseen by Organic Plus Trust (OPT), are available through the OPT website. Grass-Fed certification is a verification service that ensures that dairy and/or meat products are produced without grain. Feed must be forage-based only - no grains are allowed. Standards and policies are available on the OPT website.

Cost Share and OTECP - The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Organic Cost Share Program, administered by the Farm Service Agency, provides organic producers and handlers with financial assistance to reduce the cost of organic certification.
