Midwest Organic & Sustainable Education Service (MOSES)

Helping agriculture make the transition
MOSES is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization working in the upper Midwest working with other farm groups and institutions to promote sustainable organic agriculture. "Our mission is to help agriculture make the transition to a sustainable organic system of farming that is ecologically sound, economically viable, and socially just, through information, education, research, and integration of the broader community into this effort." Our focus is education for farmers, and our banner event each year is the Organic Farming Conference, held in February in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
To receive the brochure on our next conference (available in December) call 715-772-3153, or write to: MOSES, PO Box 339, Spring Valley, WI 54767 or email with your postal address to info@mosesorganic.org.
Check out the extensive list of education materials available from MOSES by visiting their site at www.mosesorganic.org.
